This building came into existence since from 1986-87. And since from the beginning with the grace of Guru Sahib, this is the first choice for sangat due to the hard work of the sewadars and committee members.

Ahead of the upcoming Management Committee election on Sunday, 27 September 2026, at Guru Tegh Bahadur Gurdwara Sahib, we would like to confirm that all groups will be given the opportunity to provide leaflets for posting on two occasions before the election.

Please provide the leaflets in packed envelopes with the required postage stamps already affixed. The Election Board will place the address labels on the envelopes. The group sending the leaflets will be responsible for the cost of postage, mailing and labels.

We would also like to make clear that leaflets must not contain personal attacks or comments directed towards any individual’s family members. Groups may raise concerns or make comments regarding the Committee or another group; however, any such statements must be credible, factual and supported by appropriate evidence. There should be no speculation, unsubstantiated allegations or personal attacks.

The Election Board reserves the right not to post any leaflet that does not comply with these requirements.

This arrangement will apply equally to all groups.

Join us for an exciting evening exploring the significance and beauty of keeping our Kes (Hair) and tying a Dastaar as Sikh women🤍

We’ll hear from our sisters about their personal journeys - from beginning to cover their Kes, to tying a Dastaar, the reasons behind their choices, and how their relationship with Sikhi has shaped their journey.

Whether you already keep your Kes or adorn a Dastaar, have thought about starting, or simply want to learn and understand more, this is a welcoming space to listen, ask questions and connect.

We’ll also have an optional Dastaar-tying workshop for anyone who would like to learn or practise.

If you’d like to take part in the workshop, please bring a Dastaar cloth if you have one (if not, we will provide them) and a small mirror if possible. No previous experience is needed☺️
