🏡 WELCOME SPACE 🌟

What an amazing time we’ve had lately! 🤩
Yesterday was such a laugh — we had prize bingo 🎟️🎉 and fun quizzes 📝🤔, plus a delicious meal of fish cakes, chips & mushy peas 🍟🐟💚, finished off with a choice of tasty cake for dessert 🍰😋!

This week we treated ourselves to lovely sugar & jam donuts 🍩🍓, and some super yummy chocolate cake — honestly, it was divine! 🍫🎂✨

📅 NEXT WEEK IS GOING TO BE EVEN BETTER!
The weather forecast looks perfect ☀️😎, so we’re heading outside into the church garden 🌳🌸🌼 for a proper picnic! 🧺🥪🥤🎈

We had a wonderful morning of worship today at Christ Church URC! 🌿

As we gathered for Good Shepherd Sunday, we reflected on the comfort of knowing that we are never walking our paths alone. We were reminded that Christ leads us with grace, even when the way ahead feels winding or uncertain.

It was a joy to see so many familiar faces and welcome new friends into our church family this morning.

Our Prayer for the Week:
"Lord, guide our feet in the way of peace and lead us to be a source of living water for our community. Amen."

Whether you were with us in person or in spirit, we wish you a peaceful and blessed week ahead!

✨ Yesterday’s Welcome Space was such a treat! ✨

It was absolutely wonderful to see all our regular guests back again, and a huge, warm welcome to the new faces who joined us for the first time! 🌟😊

We had a brilliant time together:
🎱 Our favorite games of pool got quite competitive!
🔢 Bingo was a hit with some lucky prize winners!
🧠 We put our thinking caps on for the quiz!
🎨 The little ones had a blast with biscuit decorating—so much icing and fun! 🍪👦👧

The room was filled with chatting and laughter as we all tucked into some scrumptious hot toasties 🥪 and enjoyed our usual delicious cake! 🍰☕️

We’re thrilled to share some exciting news! 📢 Our Messy Church 🎨 has been specially invited to lead a session at the URC East Midlands Synod Picnic. ⛪🌳 It would be wonderful to have as many of our family there as possible to join in the fun and represent our community! 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦❤️🤝

It’s going to be a fantastic day for all ages with a bouncy castle, 🏰 games, ⚽ Christian meditation, 🧘‍♂️ and more! ✨🥳
