St Nicholas Church All are welcome at St Nicholas, Leicester's oldest church. A member of the Inclusive Church Network.

Here we work together and learn from each other, so that as a community we may better reflect and celebrate the wondrous diversity of God's creation.

You may have noticed from our website, but our normal 2-4pm Saturday Opening event isn't happening today (10/10) due to a Marriage Blessing. We will be open as usual for our Sunday evening service tomorrow, and for visiting and prayer next Saturday. Thank you for your understanding!

Our popular Urban Bird Watch is back!

Join us for a short walk around our city centre parish with Dr Alex Bond, senior curator of Birds at the Natural History Museum, as we discover the wonders of the natural world, even in a heavily urban environment.

Details, including a detailed overview of the route, are available here: https://stnicholasleicester.com/whats-on/urban-birdwatch-23-05-26

Introducing: We Dare To Pray

A new series of events at St Nicholas Church, held on the last Friday of each month, where we gather together and explore different ways of praying.

Join us one evening, from 18:30-19:30, to grow your experience and understanding of prayer, engage with something familiar, or try something completely new... and if you want to, you can stay for a short service of Compline held immediately afterwards.

You can find out more about these, and other events and services at St Nicks, by going to our website: https://stnicholasleicester.com/whats-on

Our B**r and Carols event is AT CAPACITY! We are really sorry to anyone who may have been planning to grab a ticket later but they are now all gone! This is because we have to be careful and ensure you all fit in safely as we're only a small church (there were less people in Leicester when St Nicholas was built 1100 years ago!)

If you've got tickets and realise you won't be able to use them, please get in touch, so we can offer your space to someone who would otherwise miss out.

And a reminder, if you need the hymns in a specific format for accessibility reasons (large print, special coloured paper, etc), just let us know and we'll print a copy just for you!
