*Key Timings (BST):*
- 03:23 AM - Vedh Begins (Stop all eating)
- 18:16 - Grahan Starts
- 19:12 - Maximum Eclipse
- 20:08 - Grahan Ends (UK Sunset is later at 20:31)

*Devotional Guidelines:*
- Do not consume food after the Vedh period starts at 03:23 AM.
- Take a bath just before the Grahan starts at 18:16.
- Spend the eclipse duration (18:16 to 20:08) engaging in J*p (mantra chanting), Homa, and Devpujā. *Join us for Mahamantra Dhun in the Temple*

*Post-Grahan Purification & Fast Breaking:*
- At exactly 20:08, take a full-body purifying bath with all your clothes on.
- Take sankalpa (resolve) and set aside your chosen charity (dān).
- Because the eclipse completely ends before the sun sets in the UK, we do not need to wait until the next morning to eat.
- Following this, you may freshly prepare vegetarian meals that same evening.

🎥 Jalaram Bhagwat Satsang Highlights | 24th & 25th July 2026

Relive the memorable moments from the two-day Jalaram Bhagwat Satsang held at Jalaram Temple Leicester, beautifully orated by Alpesh Bhai Joshi.

The event was a heartfelt celebration honouring Mahendra Bhai and Raju Bhai Pandya on their retirement after more than 36 years of dedicated seva to the temple and community. We also warmly welcomed Varad Bhai, one of Leicester’s youngest priests, as he begins his journey of serving our mandir and sangh.

Chairman Pramod Bhai Thakkar, together with Trustees Sunil Bhai Budhdeo and Meera Ruparelia, shared an inspiring message over the two days: as time moves forward, we must embrace positive change while remaining rooted in our values. By welcoming new ideas and activities, we encourage the next generation to step forward and strengthen our Hindu Dharma, while our elders continue to lead by example through regular participation in temple life and community activities.

Our sincere gratitude to everyone who attended, volunteered, and helped make these two days so special.
