Thanks to Blaby DC for match funding the work on the men's toilets at the Bunning Hall. Still work to be done to improve the floor but it is looking lots better 😊.

Big Bargain Book sale
Thank you to all who contributed to this event. Especially those who donated books, jigsaws and games. The ones who turned up on Friday afternoon to sort (think there were 30 of you!) in record time. Of course all those who came along on the day and bought or sold items and those who stayed behind to clear up. It was a real team effort and without any of you we would not have raised just short of £1200 for Cosby Parish Church much needed funds. Special thanks to Alison the bacon buttie Queen! Another shutout to Sarah Freer who gave up most of her home to storing books in the run up. LOST PROPERTY we seemed to have gained a dress and an umbrella from the Friday afternoon crew if you think they are yours contact me.

Anyone able to come to The Bunning Hall on Friday 13th to help sort books for the sale on Saturday will be able to buy ahead of the sale. Even if you could just spare an hour that would help. Feeling overwhelmed at the amount of books and jigsaws we have. Ros

We have received many books and board games and more jigsaws than I have ever seen!!! Some of these are brand new!
