Everyones life goes a different way, some appear better than others, some worse. But despite what we have or haven’t done, is there hope for everyone to look too? Could there be hope even in my darkest moments?

Upon hearing about the Queen’s passing, it didn’t feel real. It was only today seeing the pictures of thousands at Buckingham palace, and the hundreds of flowers being laid at the steps that this has sunk into reality. It is so sad to lose such an extraordinary person.

Her leadership and her faithfulness has left a mark on our nation that will never be forgotten. She was the kind of leader we would long to see in power again, which feels like a very bizarre thing to be able to feel these days.

I think what separated Queen Elizabeth II, what guided her and made her into the woman she was, was her faith and relationship with Jesus Christ. As you can see from this Quote from her Christmas Speech in 2014, Jesus was the standard of faithfulness and love she kept up with. A love and faithfulness to all human beings seeing them as valuable and lovable no matter what their history may be.

This is the kind of love she wanted all to know.

This relationship with Jesus was held by faith on earth, but now she sees him face to face in Heaven forever.
