He helped found multiple monasteries in Ireland before travelling to Iona in Scotland as a missionary where he converted most of Western Scotland. He was renowned as a poet, scribe and spiritual guide.

St Boniface was born in Devon, England during the 7th Century.⁠

He organised significant foundations of the Church in Germany and was even made Archbishop of Mainz. Boniface was martyred along with 52 others.⁠
