St John's Moor Allerton are supporting Macmillan Cancer Support by hosting a Coffee Morning on Saturday 19 September in the Church Hall.

The Coffee Morning is open to everyone and we hope our friends from Danceworks LEEDS will join us for refreshments.

Please come along and bring as many of your friends as possible to support this amazing charity.

Lord in your mercy - hear our prayers 🙏🏾

I am praying for all those affected by the devastating flash floods in Nepal and Tibet.

I pray for those who are grieving, and for those who are still waiting for news of their missing loved ones. I pray for the emergency workers in the region, operating in immensely difficult conditions to rescue people and bring relief. I pray too for those who are injured, and for the doctors and nurses working tirelessly to bring healing and rebuild lives.

Into the hands of our loving God, and in the name of Jesus Christ, I place all those who watch, wait and weep. Lord in your mercy, hear our prayer.

Good morning everyone!
Looking forward to worshipping together tomorrow. There will be one service tomorrow at 10:30am at Church. It will also be a joint service with the congregation from St Paul's. It will will be a communion service and the Bible passage is Matthew 16: 21-end. This passage is a difficult passage but we will look for the HOPE within it.
Next week everything will be back to normal - if there is such a thing. We will have 9:15am services back on Facebook live - except for the 4th week in the month or if I'm on annual leave.

Good evening!
Looking forward to worshipping together tomorrow! There will only be one service tomorrow at 1030am in church. It will be a Service of the Word.
During the ‘Special Feature!’ we will be celebrating our choir - they may be small in number but they are still committed to leading worship with song at St John’s.
We are so thankful for them!
Please come along tomorrow - but if you cannot make it then please join in the service online on the Church of England’s page.

WE APOLOGISE but due to many of our congregation being on holiday at the moment, we have decided to CANCEL the Cream Tea scheduled for this Friday 31 July.

Our next event will be a COFFEE MORNING on Saturday 19 September from 9.30am.

Sorry if you logged on this morning expecting a Facebook Live Service, we are taking a Summer Break at the moment!

The following services will not be taking place in August -
Mid-Week Communion Service at St Stephen’s at 10am on the 1st Wednesday of the month
Communion Service at St Paul’s at 8am on the 1st Sunday of the month.
Communion Service at St John’s at 8am on the 2nd Sunday of the month.
Sunday Facebook Live Service at 9:15am.

Our usual Sunday Service at 10.30am will go ahead as normal throughout the summer, please join us in Church.

Things will be back to normal in September - have a fabulous Summer Break.

I’m definitely enjoying the cooler days! I wonder what is on your list of things to do tomorrow…?
If you are away on holiday wherever in the world - enjoy and come back safe!
Those of you who are still in Leeds or the surrounding areas - please join together for worship tomorrow. We are sorry but there will be no Facebook Live Service at 9:15am and just one service tomorrow at 10:30am at church. It will be a communion service. It will always be lovely to see you and you will receive a warm welcome! And if you have time - please stay for a cuppa afterwards with old friends and new!
