We are on this journey at Chapel Allerton too, planning for heat pumps, solar PV, batteries and under-floor heating as part of 'building a warmer welcome' in our church

Dr Hamish Leese, Director of Environmental Engagement at the Methodist Church, has now written a blog arguing that although the target is no longer bound to the 2030 target it remains very much the aspiration of the Church to achieve net zero status. At last, we are able to make a start on repairing the windows of our much-used and much-loved building in the heart of Chapel Allerton.
