Join Leeds Sanctuary and local artist & historian Clifford Stead for a creative walk through Leeds city centre. As we walk and sketch, we’ll uncover the stories of LGBTQ+ activists who have helped make Leeds a safer, more inclusive city.

A wonderful Pride Church Leeds last night at Leeds Minster led by the fabulous

My love is stronger, My love is stronger than your fear. 🎶” 🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️ our next Pride Church Leeds service is Wed 1st July at 7pm for a Eucharist together and then our special Leeds Pride Celebration Service on FRIDAY 17th July at 7pm at the start of Leeds Pride - both at Leeds Minster

It was a really lovely Pride Church Leeds service last night Leeds Minster 🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️
Rev’d Jo Medhurst led us in a wonderful thoughtful, reflective and encouraging service.. and it including burning some of the hurtful words that have been said to each one of us over the years! Thank you to everyone who came along.
Our next service is Wednesday 3rd June at 7pm 🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️

Praying for our trans brothers, sisters and siblings today 🙏🏳️‍⚧️💖 may we be held by the God who made us, loves us, and sees us as our true selves, today and every day

Today we celebrate Trans Day of Visibility 🏳️‍⚧️

We proudly stand with our trans community and supporters across the world. Today is about honouring the strength and diversity of transgender people everywhere.

Every trans person, across all identities and expressions deserves love, equality and access to healthcare. 🙏

We’re also excited to continue this support into the future, with plans for a stronger trans representation at Leeds Pride 2026. 🌈

At Pride Church last night we thought about pebbles, penguins 🐧 and building a place where all are welcome 🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️

It’s LGBTQ+ history month! 🌈

We’re giving thanks for how far we have come, and lamenting how far we still have to go towards full inclusion for LGBTQIA+ siblings in the church.

Join us this Wednesday for our February Pride Church prayer service - 7pm at Leeds Minster

The council and other organisations across the city are lighting up buildings in rainbow colours this evening to mark the beginning of LGBT+ History Month. The Pride flag is also flying at Leeds Civic Hall 🏳️‍🌈
