🍁🌾🌺 CELEBRATING HERITAGE & TOGETHERNESS SINCE 1982 🌺🌾🍁

Founded in 1982 at the Leeds Hindu Temple, the Leeds Durga puja and Diwali Association is proud to be the oldest Durga Puja celebration in Yorkshire and one of the oldest in the UK.

Originally shaped by the tireless dedication of former Chairperson Prof. Dr. Sikha Saha and her team, the mantle has now been passed to Dr. Sourojyoti Basu.

Today, alongside passionate executive members and volunteers, the organization continues to thrive in its original home, bringing the community together through grander and more joyful celebrations of Bengali festivals in the North of the UK.
