Friday Sikhi Classes 🙏🏽 For 24 years, our Friday Sikhi Classes have brought the Sangat together to learn, reflect and grow.

This week’s theme is:

Our Living Guru
Gurgaddi Divas of Guru Granth Sahib Ji

Together we’ll explore why Guru Gobind Singh Ji gave Gurgaddi to the Shabad, what it means to have Guru Granth Sahib Ji as our eternal Guru, and how we can connect with the Guru through Hukamnama and Gurbani.

IMPORTANT CORRECTION/CLARIFICATION STATEMENT BY THE COMMITTEE AND MANAGEMENT FROM SIKH TEMPLE LEEDS.

Correction / Clarification Statement
The announcement circulating from Sikh Inspiration claiming that the Committee at The Sikh Temple Leeds has decided to end all Gurmat classes delivered by Sikh Inspiration at the Gurdwara is incorrect.
Key facts:
• The Committee has never stopped any classes at any time.
• No decision was taken by the Committee (or by any small group of committee members) to terminate Gurmat classes or any other educational activity at the Gurdwara.
What has been proposed / discussed instead:
The entire education system at the Gurdwara is being brought under the unified banner of Khalsa Punjabi School.
This structure consists of three clear branches:
1. Religious (Gurmat / religious education)
2. Education (including Punjabi language and academic support)
3. Sports & Welfare
Classes and programmes continue. The change is organisational — placing all educational, religious, sporting and welfare activities under one coherent Khalsa Punjabi School framework — not a cessation of teaching.
Any claim that the Committee has ended Sikh Inspiration’s classes is false and does not reflect the actual position of the Gurdwara management.
