Leeds Grand Mosque was established in 1995 and is situated near Hyde Park. With it's close proximity to the University, it has a very diverse and multicultural community and a very warm and friendly atmosphere.

The LGM New to Islam trip to Aysgarth Falls on Saturday 4th July was a wonderful experience for our new Muslim community. It was a beautiful day of reflection, friendship, and enjoying Allah's creation together.

Khatmat Tajweed Al-Qur'an with Sheikh Dr Taher is on.

Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Messenger of Allah (๏ทบ) said, "Any group of people that assemble in one of the Houses of Allah to recite the Book of Allah, learning and teaching it, tranquility will descend upon them, mercy will engulf them, angels will surround them and Allah will make mention of them to those (the angels) in His proximity." [Muslim].

We are committed to continuous and incremental improvement, and we regularly review our facilities to identify where small changes can better serve and protect our community.

As part of this ongoing work, we have installed additional safety railings and painted the steps and curb to improve visibility and reduce the risk of trips and falls.

We will continue improving our mosque step by step for the benefit of our community, insha'Allah.

Alhamdulillah, yesterday our students successfully completed their Quran, Arabic and Islamic Studies assessments.

We are very proud of their hard work, focus, and commitment throughout the year.

Our students are also now getting excited and preparing for the upcoming End of Year Ceremony, inshaโ€™Allah.
