We are pleased to announce the Women’s Tajweed Foundation Course at Leeds Grand Mosque.
This programme will help women improve their Qur’anic recitation and develop a strong understanding of the fundamental principles of Tajweed.
Full details, including the course content, prerequisites, schedule, and registration instructions, are provided below.

The New to Islam weekly drop in sessions will restart this Sunday InshaAllah, following the summer break.

The drop in sessions are a perfect opportunity for the community to ask questions and meet others on a similar journey.

As usual, please find us at Leeds Grand Mosque every Sunday from 11:30am to 12:30pm in the following rooms InshaAllah:

➤ Fire Assembly Point 2 – Hyde Park Surgery Car Park

In the event of an evacuation:

➤ Turn right after exiting fire exit

➤ Follow the marked Fire Escape Pathway

➤ Exit through the back Mosque Gate

➤ Follow the directional arrows on fire exit signs

➤ Obey all instructions from the Fire Marshal

*For Year 9-12 students and parents considering Medicine or Dentistry.*

Getting into Medicine or Dentistry is not just about grades anymore. Families need to not only understand the admissions journey - but also the future of healthcare itself.

AI, technology, digital health, workforce pressures and changing patient expectations are all reshaping what tomorrow’s doctors and dentists will need to become.

*This session will help families understand:*
- How UK medical and dental admissions really work
- What students should focus on from Year 9–12
- Common mistakes that waste time and opportunities
- How AI and innovation are changing healthcare
- What the future doctor or dentist may need to look like
- How parents can support with clarity and confidence
