“But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control.” — Galatians 5:22-23

Join Cathy and Joe to learn how walking with Jesus isn’t about trying harder—it’s about being transformed from the inside out.

Come and rest in the gentle work of the Holy Spirit, who transforms us through grace, not performance.

We’ll explore how true spiritual fruit is produced not by effort, but by abiding in Jesus and allowing His Spirit to renew us daily.

Let this be a day of surrender, refreshment, and renewed purpose as you rediscover the joy of walking in step with grace.

Inside-Out Change

“But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord.”
— 2 Corinthians 3:18

The Spirit’s work is not harsh or hurried. It is steady—inside out.

We are being transformed as we behold the Lord. Not by gripping tighter, but by looking longer.

What you gaze upon shapes you. So today, linger. Return your attention to Christ. Let His kindness reshape your inner world.

“God is not interested in behaviour modification as much as heart transformation.” — Dallas Willard

Transformation is grace in motion.

From Condemnation to Confidence

“There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit.” — Romans 8:1

Begin with this anchor: there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.

Condemnation pressures; grace leads. Condemnation accuses; the Spirit convicts with hope.

If your mind is crowded with self-criticism, pause. Place your hand on your heart. Breathe slowly.

In Christ, you are not on trial. You are already accepted.

“Condemnation does not come from God.” — Neil T. Anderson

Let confidence rise—not in yourself, but in Him.

The Gift of Righteousness

Righteousness is not something you achieve—it is something you receive.

“For if by the one man’s offense death reigned through the one, much more those who receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness will reign in life through the One, Jesus Christ.”
—Romans 5:17

Romans tells us we receive the abundance of grace and the gift of righteousness. A gift can’t be earned; it can only be accepted.

When you feel unworthy, remember: the gift is measured by the Giver, not the receiver.

“Righteousness is a gift, not a wage.”
— Joseph Prince

Today, take your place in Christ with quiet confidence. You are righteous because Jesus is.

Grace doesn’t Keep Score

Grace is not a ledger. The Father is not tallying your failures.

As far as the east is from the west, so far has He removed our transgressions from us.
—Psalm 103:12

As far as the east is from the west, so far has He removed our transgressions. That is not spiritual optimism—it is covenant mercy.

If shame has been speaking loudly, let grace speak louder: you are forgiven, and you are safe.

“Grace means that all of your mistakes now serve a purpose instead of serving shame.” — Brené Brown

Today, refuse the voice that keeps score. Return to the God who removes.

Pentecost: Holy Fire. Gentle Power

Pentecost is the promise fulfilled: God with us, now God in us.

When the Day of Pentecost had fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. And suddenly there came a sound from heaven, as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled the whole house where they were sitting. Then there appeared to them divided tongues, as of fire, and one sat upon each of them. And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.
—Acts 2:1-4

Tongues of fire mark not destruction, but holy presence—purifying, empowering, enlivening.

The Spirit does not come to turn you into a performer; He comes to form Christ in you.

Today, ask simply: “Holy Spirit, fill me.” And receive—peace, power, love.

“The Spirit is the gift of grace that makes the life of Christ real in us.”
— Dallas Willard

Grace ignites. Love sends.

Beloved before You Begin

Before you begin the day—before tasks, decisions, or even prayer—receive this: you are beloved.

“We love Him because He first loved us.”
—1 John 4:19

Sonship is not a reward for spiritual effort; it is the starting place of the Christian life. We love because He first loved us.

Today, let love lead. When you start from belonging, the heart steadies and the soul can breathe.

“God does not love us because we are valuable; we are valuable because God loves us.”
— Grahame Cooke

You don’t work *for* acceptance. You work *from* it.

Grace for the Weak

Weakness is not disqualification; it is invitation.

And He said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.”
—2 Corinthians 12:9

When you feel limited, exposed, or stretched thin, grace does not step back. It steps closer: “My grace is sufficient for you.”

In your weakness, Christ’s strength becomes visible—not as pressure, but as presence.

Today, bring your limitation to Jesus without pretending. Let grace meet you there and turn need into communion.

“God’s power is perfected in weakness.”
—Watchman Nee

Grace is enough—even here.

Ascension Day: Grace on the Throne

Ascension is not Jesus leaving; it is Jesus reigning.

Seeing then that we have a great High Priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our confession. For we do not have a High Priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but was in all points tempted as we are, yet without sin. Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.
—Hebrews 4:14–16

He ascended as our great High Priest—still carrying mercy, still interceding, still welcoming.

This is grace with authority: a Saviour on the throne who invites you to draw near with confidence.

Today, lift your eyes. Your life is not ruled by chaos. Christ reigns—and His reign is marked by kindness.

“The Ascension is Jesus’ enthronement—and our assurance.”
— N. T. Wright

Come boldly to the throne of grace.
