Although we won't be reading names aloud in the service this year, we will include your loved one's name on the prayer tree if you would like that, and we will light a candle in their memory.
Bereavement affects everyone in different ways. If you would benefit from a friendly supportive environment and a chance to chat with other bereaved folk you may like to come along to our Bereavement Cafe, supported by Princess Alice Hospice. This takes place on the 1st Thursday of each month in our Church Hall at St Mary's from 10 - 11.30am. The Bereavement Cafe provides a space for those who have been bereaved to relax over coffee and cake and talk about their loss, any emotions they are experiencing and the unforeseen challenges of their changed situation. This is not a counselling service but an opportunity to share and be supported by people who will listen. There is no need to book.
