The Pope’s Prayer Intentions for May 2026

For the month of May 2026, the Holy Father’s prayer intentions are that everyone might have food: 'Let us pray that everyone, from large producers to small consumers, be committed to avoid wasting food, and to ensure that everyone has access to quality food.'

Every time we pray the Our Father, as we pray "Give us this day our daily bread", we are asking God not just for ourselves and our own families and friends, but on behalf of all of our brothers and sisters across the world that we all may have the food we need.

During this month let us keep this in mind and also pray for all those people, agencies and companies working together to provide food for us all and especially for relief agencies trying to relieve hunger and starvation across the world.
