Join us to worship this Sunday, 31 May.
It's Trinity Sunday, when we reflect on the nature of God as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
8.00am Holy Communion - a quiet said service in the peace of the Lady Chapel. Approx 30 minutes.
10.30am Parish Communion - our main service, followed by refreshments. Allow just over an hour.
This Sunday, the Choir has a well-deserved break for half term, so the 10.30am service will mostly be said, with organ and hymns.
Congregational Setting: Trinity Mass (Thorne) - Gloria only.
Readings: Isaiah 40.12-17 & 27-31; 2 Corinthians 13.11-13.
Gospel Reading: Matthew 28.16-20.
Hymns:
Holy, holy, holy! Lord God almighty! (Nicaea)
Thou, whose almighty Word (Moscow)
I bind unto myself today (St Patrick's Breastplate/Gartan)
Affirm anew the threefold Name (St Matthew)
Tea/coffee/squash/biscuits follow in the Urquhart Room at the back of church (no charge, donations not expected).
We strive to be fully inclusive, and offer a warm welcome to all who wish to worship with us.
