A powerful reminder from Sunday’s sermon at Millbrook.

This week, Rev. Ruth Turner shared with us about the songs that Jesus sang, reminding us that songs have a powerful way of bringing us back to the truth of who God is and what He has done.

We were reminded that there is victory in the cross. Because of what Jesus did, the presence of God rushed out to us, and we can live in the hope and freedom that His victory brings.

💪 CAFÉ FIT ☕

We’re trialling a new start time for Café Fit tomorrow night. Instead of meeting at our usual 6:30pm, we’ll be running a wee bit later this week, starting at 7.30 - just to see how it goes

This week we’ll be taking on another partner circuit:
- 5 stations
- 3 rounds
- As many reps as you and your partner can complete within the time limit

Whether you’re trying a class for the first time or you’re a regular exerciser looking for a challenge, all fitness levels are welcome. Most importantly, come along, have fun, have a laugh, and enjoy the class!

A little recap of the BEST week at our annual Kids Club @ Millbrook Nazarene! 🧺☀️

This year we hosted ‘The Big Picnic’ - eating around the table together, singing songs, hearing stories and having SO much fun together!

We hope these pictures give you an idea of the joy, laughter and special memories we made at The Big Picnic. We are so thankful for such a special week! 💛

We’re excited to gather together for worship, a time of celebration and prayer, as Victoria continues our series, “Summer in the Psalms”. We’d love for you to join us as we explore it together.

What a week! We’ll be celebrating a fantastic week at Kids Club. It’s been such a joy to see so many children, leaders and families come together, have fun, build friendships and feel part of our community.

We’re especially grateful for the opportunity Kids Club gives us to connect with families across our local community. We pray that the friendships made, conversations shared and love shown throughout the week will have a lasting impact on the lives of everyone involved. Our hearts are so full ❤️

Come and celebrate with us as we give thanks for all that God has been doing this week, and all that we trust He will continue to do in the lives of those we’ve met.

FAMILY FUN NIGHT
Kids Club started today, and even though the first night is done, we can’t wait to welcome all our primary school-aged children back to The Big Picnic!

To finish the week, we’d love to invite you to our Family Fun Night on Friday evening. Bring the whole family along for a relaxed evening of food, games, crafts, activities and plenty of fun stations to explore.

Whether you’ve been at Kids Club during the week or are just joining us on Friday, everyone is welcome. It’s a great opportunity to spend time together, meet other families and enjoy a fun evening for all ages.

Join us on Friday 14th August, from 6:30–8:00pm at Millbrook Community Centre. There’s no need to register, and everything is completely free. We’d love to see you there!

We’re so excited for three nights of fun, games, food, fellowship, and bible stories.
