At this time of year we collect in the first of our United Appeal envelopes which can be found in your envelope pack.
Every aspect of our Church’s mission depends to some extent on United Appeal. Hundreds of projects and programmes at home and overseas are helping to advance God’s kingdom, showing God’s love in action to hundreds of thousands of people.

✨️ Happy volunteer week ✨️
Now they have had a week to recover we would like to show our appreciation to the many volunteers who gave up their time before, during and after the flower festival to keep things running smoothly.
We were very blessed to have so many willing helpers and only got a few photos of a small number of them.
Thank you to all.

Mr Martin Delaney will preach for the Vacancy tomorrow morning at 10am and there will be a meeting of Voting Members of the congregations on Monday at 7pm to decide whether to issue a Call to him to be our next Minister. Everyone is urged to pray for God's guidance and blessing at this time on Mr Delaney and the people of Magheramorne and Raloo.

This Sunday we are having two services.
Our morning service at 10am will be led Rev Philip McConnell who has strong family connections with our church as his Dad Tom McConnell served in many roles such as was Clerk of Session and Treasurer over his lifetime.
The 7pm service we will have Rev Michael Barry who is no stranger to us as he ministered to our congregation during part of our vacancy and he is also a past Moderator.

Lots of background preparations this week for our flower festival starting this Sunday to celebrate our 150th anniversary.
Floral displays with the theme 'Celebrating 150 years of God’s Grace' will be designed and arranged by members of Greenisland Flowerclub - of which four members of our congregation belong to.

As we finish Christian Aid week for another year, our thanks goes to the team who delivered envelopes in our local area. If you have an envelope you would like to drop off, it can be left at one of the drop off points listed on it or place it in the church collection plate.
Thank you also to everyone who provided items for our bread and cheese lunch last week and all who supported it.
