Life has a way of frightening us, of making us fearful and afraid. From bills to the future to health scares - there is so much that causes us to worry.

But God's word to Joshua reminds us: if He is with us, there is nothing to worry about. When our trust is in the living God anxiety dies for he assures us we are safe in His hands.

Is that a strength and courage you know?

In the 1st Century, Saul of Tarsus was a sworn enemy of Christ and the church. But Jesus met him and transformed him. He then spent the rest of his life preaching about Jesus Christ across the Roman Empire.

If Jesus was willing to accept, forgive and change a violent persecutor of his people like Saul, surely he's willing to accept, forgive and change someone like you?

The Old Testament prophet Joel, picked up by Peter on the day of Pentecost, pointed forward to 'the great and glorious day of the Lord' - the day on which the creator himself comes to judge the world.

ON THE FIRST DAY OF THE WEEK...JESUS ROSE

In rising on the first day, Jesus kickstarted a new week, a new era in human history - an era in which resurrection life is available to all who believe.

Through faith in him you can face death without fear. Jesus rose, and because of him, you too can rise!

Sometimes we get stuck in echo Chambers, seasons when the only voice we hear in our head and our heart is our own. Doom reverberating around. Negativity on repeat. No respite from the disillusionment and despair.

But into our echo Chambers Jesus desires to enter. Into our conversations with no one but ourselves Jesus asks to come. To speak hope. To speak truth. To reveal HIMSELF.
