Carols by Candlelight @ Lapford Congregational Church. Tomorrow 6.30pm

Join us for one of our favourite times of the year. Festive singing, fellowship and worship. Refreshments of tea and coffee with mince pies and chocolate brownies after the service.

Today, we were delighted to be joined by Mervyn and Shelia Burd. Mervyn shared some thoughts from one of his books and read John 12:1-11, reminding us of the importance of making time for God and extravagant worship.

The first candle (“the prophets candle”) was lit on the Advent wreath which represents hope, reminding us of the coming of Jesus.

We have some new Christmas bunting which has been put up in the church. Thank you to Wendy and Sue for making it for us.
