A beautiful setting for an unforgettable evening of music.
Our Choir travelled to Salisbury Cathedral this week to sing Evensong, performing works by Thomas Tomkins and Maurice Greene beneath the Cathedralâs magnificent vaulted ceilings.
Between rehearsals, pupils made the most of the spring sunshine exploring the cloisters, before delivering a stunning performance for parents and friends who had travelled to hear them sing. A number of outstanding soloists featured throughout the service, including a moving duet from former Salisbury Cathedral Choristers Lili R and Izzy M.
A huge thank you to Andrew Lumsden, former Director of Music at Wi******er Cathedral, for accompanying the Choir on the organ.
And of course, no choir trip home would be complete without the traditional McDonaldâs stop!
