Enormous thanks are owed to those who organised our heritage open day at the Cathedral. Special thanks are due to Damian, our director of music, who treated us to an organ recital as part of the event.

167 years ago today our cathedral was consecrated. The Bishop celebrated Mass today in thanksgiving for all the gifts God has given in this place. (Pictured: one of the consecration candles on the walls of the cathedral where they were anointed during the consecration Mass).
