Well Done girls.

After their success at the gymnastics regional qualifiers in January, seven of our pupils travelled to the British Schools Finals in Stoke‑on‑Trent. With only one team from each region earning a place at the finals, the competition was incredibly tough.

They rose to the challenge and came out on top; Ripley’s gymnasts are now British Schools Gymnastics Champions!

The North West team also secured 3rd place in the regional event, with our team’s outstanding scores making a significant contribution.

Throughout the day, the gymnasts represented the school brilliantly. They were focused, exceptionally well behaved and delivered outstanding performances from start to finish.

Today, we especially pray for all year 6 students starting their SATs and everyone sitting GCSEs and A-levels.

This evening our youth group built spaghetti and marshmallow towers, made their own fruit kebabs and played games that needed accuracy to hit the target. We talked about the story of Adam and Eve and thought about how we all make mistakes but can all find forgiveness. Youth group is for children in school years 5 and upwards. DM us if your child might like a trial week to see if they enjoy it.
