Great wee weekend for one of our Brigaders as she joins with a group of girls from 1st Hamilton company to complete her Bronze Duke of Edinburgh expedition. Well done all! 🎒🥾⛺️

You may have seen on social media that Girls’ Brigade Scotland will cease to operate on 31 May 2027. This doesn't mean the end for us at 1st Kirkmuirhill!

Girls’ Brigade Scotland will be joining with Girls’ Brigade England & Wales to form Girls’ Brigade Great Britain. The aims, values, and principles of Girls’ Brigade will remain the same.

1st Kirkmuirhill will be celebrating 70 years in 2027 and we are not going anywhere! We will be back in September, for all our usual fun!

This information was only shared with us on Thursday night and we are still taking time to understand and process what this will look like for us. Nothing should change for us at the moment.

Remember Girls’ Brigade Scotland members in your prayers as we work through all this.
