A poignant morning as we held the last service in Kirriemuir: St. Andrew's as we are now united with the Glens and Kirriemuir Old to form the new charge of The Glens and Kirriemuir United.
It was an opportunity to celebrate the long and dedicated service of a number of our Elders. Long service certificates totalling 212 years were presented to Jim Hardie (44 years), Jock Kerr (52), Wendy Smeaton (31), Muriel Farquharson (31), and Bill Wells (54). Grateful thanks are also given to all of the Elders for their diligent work with the church.
Gift Bibles were also presented to Wendy Smeaton and Anneka Noble (and not forgetting Brenda Low, who was unable to attend) for their work with the Sunday school.
