A week tomorrow (11am-1pm, Sunday 14 June) it’ll be Messy Kirk at Kirkwall Salvation Army - and we’d love to see you there! Here are some photos from the last Messy Kirk - it’s crafts, activities, a Bible story, lunch, singing, Lego and more! Kirkwall Salvation Army On Tour is back - and this time we’re going overseas! Over the past couple of summers, we’ve taken our afternoon worship service ‘on the road’ once a month. It’s been awesome getting out and meeting folks across Orkney. This year we’re off to Dounby, the Hope and Shapinsay ⛴️ The details are below, but let us know if you have any questions. If you’re wondering which Sunday might be a good time to try out a service at Kirkwall Salvation Army, we reckon it might just be this coming Sunday! We have a crackin’ day planned: in our 10.30am worship we’ll be marking Volunteer Sunday, as we thank the wonderful volunteers who make so much of what we do possible, and then at 4.30pm it’s Café Church, when we’ll look at Christian themes from Charlie Mackesy’s best-selling ‘Always Remember’ book. We’d love to see you on Sunday!

We’ve had a crackin’ morning at Kirkwall Salvation Army at our monthly All-Age Worship! Based on Acts 2, we focused on how the church needs to be devoted to God, devoted to each other and devoted to others - and we used Jenga to help us think about that! All-Age Worship is awesome because there’s something for everyone - why not give it a go next time around?!
