Have you ever thought about trying out church one Sunday? Well, we’d love to see you at Kirkwall Salvation Army any Sunday at 10.30am or 4.30pm. We’re a relaxed, informal, vibrant and, we hope, very welcoming church. Why not give us a try? It’s maybe not what you would expect!

We’re all set for the return of our Junction Café tomorrow (Wednesday 2 September)! Come along from 11.30am for toasties, baked tatties, soup, and more - and all we ask is a donation toward the running of the café. Great food, a great setting, great company - what more could you want?!

We’re really looking forward to this coming Sunday! Our 10.30am worship will be at our hall as usual, and our 4.30pm worship will be in St Margaret’s Hope! We had a great morning at our Back to School All-Age Worship! We started off with breakfast together beforehand - as we have been throughout August - and then our time together involved all kinds of things, including a ‘bread race’ and hearing from some of the kids. We reminded ourselves that God is with us as we go back to school. And we even had Back to School cupcakes afterwards!

It was the final day of our Holiday at Home Club for Over-60s, and we were off to Mexico! We had a brilliant time together this afternoon, with games and quizzes, musical items, a mini Spanish lesson, a delicious meal, a tour through the sights of Mexico… and more! And, as we have every day, we rounded off our time together with a Bible thought from Alan. We’ve had a wonderful cruise and are so grateful to all those who joined us. Where will we go next year?!

The next port of call on our Holiday at Home cruise was California, so it was all about sunny beaches and old-school Hollywood glamour! We had even more people signed up for today and we had a great time - bingo, quizzes, a Hollywood singalong, games, a delicious meal and more. Looking forward to where the cruise takes us tomorrow!
