Harpur Creations was born from a life
changing event. I left the Army with serious health issues In 2016. One of the things I had to do was hand my uniform in, why was that so hard? That uniform reflected 27 years as a nurse and my progression through the ranks; it represented cherished memories, tears, laughter, friendships, experiences that money could not buy, in fact it was priceless. I was not entirely sure I would be able to nurse and that’s all I had ever known, but I had a sewing machine, I had an idea and I made my bear. If my bear represented so much to me, I knew I was not the only one who was likely to think like that. So to the present day…..I have been creating memory keepsakes which are cherished by young and old. I want to expand my business and in particular look at creating keepsake gifts: gifts for nursery and textiles for the home that are slightly different. Importantly though I want to make memories to cherish and share this journey.
