We go again tomorrow.

Sure it’s old but it’s beautiful, and our colours they are fine.🇬🇧

Our big day is nearly upon us, as we take to the streets of the 2nd City of the Empire, a tradition dating back to 1813.

As we parade tomorrow, We remember the great deliverer King William III Prince of Orange who decisively won the Battle of the Boyne in 1690 and put an end to the decades long persecution of the Scottish Covenanters and established the Presbyterian Church for a Presbyterian country delivering Civil and Religious Liberty for all.

We hope all Brethren, Sisters Bandsmen/Women and visitors from across the UK and beyond have a safe and enjoyable day

Je Maintiendrai.🇬🇧🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Last night standing in on behalf of our WM who was at our own district event, Past Master William Campbell presented a plaque to the WM Scott Murray of William Park memorial LOL 262 Govan District,on the lodges 150th anniversary after a short parade around Govan. A fantastic achievement from this small but hardworking lodge who always support us.

Here’s to the next 150 years lads.🇬🇧🍊✝️

Vote Unionist 🇬🇧

A message from the Most Worthy Grand Master: 🗣️

"I am urging Unionist voters across Scotland to turn out on 7 May 2026 and to encourage others in their communities to do the same. Your vote can make the difference.

As Grand Master, I want to speak plainly. On 7 May, Scotland votes, yet too many will stay at home. If turnout remains low, the direction of our country can be decided by a relatively small number of voices.

I know the strength within our community. The Loyal Orders and our supporters number in the tens of thousands, and when we consider our wider networks of family, friends, neighbours and colleagues, that number is far greater. Each year, our parades demonstrate that strength in both number and spirit. That same unity can and must be reflected at the ballot box.

Elections are often decided by the narrowest of margins. In recent local elections, just a handful of votes in key areas could have changed entire council outcomes. That is the reality across Scotland.

If you believe Scotland is stronger within the United Kingdom, then the responsibility is clear. Vote, support Unionist candidates, and encourage others to do likewise. If you feel Scotland is being taken in the wrong direction, the most effective response is to make your voice heard.

This is a moment for the Unionist community to stand together and be counted.

On 7 May, bring a family member, a friend, a neighbour, and remind someone who might otherwise stay at home."

Andrew Murray
Most Worthy Grand Master
