Last week we wrapped on our latest teaching series based in the book of Acts. Starting with the ascension of Jesus in Acts 1 and ending with the Apostles’ prayer for boldness in Acts 4. Both the early church and the gospel spread throughout the first century like wildfire. God worked through a very unlikely and ordinary group of people, making them bold and reaching thousands through them. He wants to work through you too, no matter how ordinary or unlikely you are!

WAIT, THEN GO.

We had a beautiful Pentecost gathering last Sunday and we wanted to mark it by creating something that will remind us to make space for the Holy Spirit in our daily lives. We gave out beeswax candles and encouraged the church community to spend 5mins everyday inviting the Holy Spirit to fill us before we go on with our day. Power does not come from within us, it comes from God. We have the opportunity to draw from a well deeper than ourselves.
