Following the success of our Muslim Scouts Group Open Day, we are excited to be running more sessions throughout June. Please make sure to sign your child/children up to take part.

We are also looking for volunteers to support the Muslim Scouts group. If you are interested in helping out, you can sign up for volunteering too.

Assalāmu Alaikum wa Rahmatullāhi wa Barakātuh,

Alhamdulillāh, Eid ul Adha will be celebrated tomorrow at Kirkcaldy Central Mosque & Learning Centre 🕌💚

We warmly invite the entire family to join us for this blessed occasion and celebrate Eid together as one Ummah 🤍

🕤 Eid Speech Begins: 9:30 AM
🕙 Eid Salah: 10:00 AM
👨 Men: Upstairs Hall
👩 Ladies: Downstairs Hall

Sunnahs of Eid Please Remember:

✅ Wake up early for worship
✅ Perform Ghusl before coming 🛁
✅ Use Miswak
✅ Wear your best modest clothes 👔
✅ Apply perfume (for men) 🌿
✅ Recite Takbir on the way to the mosque
✅ If performing Qurbani, delay eating until after Eid Salah
✅ If possible, take one route to the mosque and return by a different route 🚶

⚠️ Important Community Guidance:

🚗 Please CAR SHARE where possible parking will be very busy
🅿️ Park properly and respectfully please do not block roads, driveways, or neighbours
⬅️ WHEN LEAVING THE MOSQUE: LEFT TURN ONLY for smooth traffic flow
🤝 Please be patient, kind, and respectful to volunteers and fellow attendees

❌ No double parking
❌ No blocking emergency access
❌ No rushing or pushing

Udhiya (Qurbani) 2026

For those who have not yet booked the Udhiya (Qurbani), you can do so through the link of Muslim Charity.

It is £19.95 per share.

It is wajib for a person who is eligible to pay zakat that he also offers the sacrifice for Eid.

TAKBIR OF TASHREEK

It is wajib to recite the takbir of tashreek at least once after every Fard prayer. This is for individual prayer and after Jamat.

The takbir will be recited after every Fard prayer from the Fajr of 9th of Zul-Hijja (tomorrow morning) until the Asr prayer on the 13th of Zul-Hijja (Saturday).

The takbir is as follows:

اللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ اللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ لَا إلَهَ إلَّا اللَّهُ. وَاَللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ اللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ وَلِلَّهِ الْحَمْدُ.

Transliteration: Allahu akbar, Allahu akbar, La ilaha illallah, Wallahu akbar, Allahu akbar wa lillahil hamd.

The translation of the takbir:

Allah is the greatest, Allah is the greatest, there is no god but Allah. And Allah is the greatest, Allah is the greatest and to Allah belongs all praise.
