From the Director of Music, Langtoun Central Church.

Hi Everyone - a warm welcome from me in my new role as Director of Music, Langtoun Central Church. Everyone is welcome to come and sing in the choir and we are meeting in the Elgin Room at 10 am this and every Sunday to learn a new piece for the Service. I'll also post some well known Hymn Tunes for you to sing along with at home once I have access to posting on the Langtoun FB page.

Our thanks also to Hilary for playing "Das Slockit Light" so beautifully during the musical reflection. It was really hard playing this with so many emotions felt by us all.
It has been the privilege of my life to have been the organist in Abbotshall for the past thirty years. Morag, in addition to her duties as Session Clerk has led the choir magnificently, and just about kept me under control!
Thank you all from both of us, for such love and support over the years.

Join us on Sunday at 11am for our last service as Abbotshall Church before we join other town centre churches to form Langtoun Central Church on January 1st. The service will be led by our Interim Moderator, Rev David Redmayne, and we will be presenting Certificates of Long Service to 16 Elders. This afternoon at 4pm there will be the last of Richard’s Musical Reflections on our page. Thanks to everyone who has listened and supported us over the past few years - it has been our pleasure to share this time with you. God bless you all.
