Topic: Demonic Hindrance

Text: Daniel 1:6-14
Preacher: Pastor Mrs. Akinsanya

Lesson Exposition:

Daniel remained steadfast in his faith, persevering in fasting and prayer.
Philippians 4:6 states that there are demonic hindrances when prayers do not receive an answer.
Isaiah 65:24 reveals that there are spiritual strongholds or barriers that prevent individuals from praying, causing distractions from various angles.
These barriers can limit believers from serving God and receiving answers to their prayers.
Demonic hindrances manifest when individuals engage in the following behaviors:

* Unconfessing: Isaiah 59:2 and Psalm 65:6
* Unforgiving: Mark 11:25
* Uncaring attitude: Proverbs 21:13
* Unseen warfare: Ephesians 6:12 (battles that our parents initiated before us, of which we are unaware)

As Christians, we require the presence of the Holy Spirit. When we are not settled in our spirit, we should pray.

How to Overcome Demonic Hindrance:

1. Confess your sins
Forgive others
Care for others

2 Use scripture inline with your point to pray: Joshua 1:5-8
3 Matthew 17:21: Prayer and fasting
4 James 5:13-15: Seek support from the body of Christ and read books related to your problems.

🙌🏽 PRAISE GOD IN EVERY SEASON!

Praise is not only for the moments when everything is going well. Even when the answer has not come, the door has not opened, or the situation looks difficult, we can still choose to praise God.

Whatever season you are in today, keep praising God. Your praise is a declaration that God is greater than your problem and bigger than your circumstances.

🔥 Don’t wait for the testimony to praise Him. Praise Him until the testimony comes!

🔥 MY PRAISE WILL NOT BE DETERMINED BY MY CIRCUMSTANCES!

Job’s story teaches us something powerful: the enemy may want our circumstances to shake our faith, but we can choose to stand firm and keep praising God.

The blessing may be delayed.
The prayer may seem unanswered.
The situation may look impossible.

But God is still worthy of praise! 🙌🏽

📖 Psalm 34 calls us to bless the Lord at all times.

Today, make this your declaration:

“I will praise God in the good times. I will praise Him in the difficult times. I will praise Him while I wait. I will praise Him until my change comes!”

🙌🏽 My praise will go up, and my faith will stand strong!

💍 SUNDAY SERMON HIGHLIGHTS | MARRIAGE — GOD’S WILL ❤️

Preacher :Minister Ademola

Today at RCCG Fountain of Prayer, Hull, we were reminded of one powerful truth: marriage is not merely a relationship between two people; it is a union designed by God and one that requires God at the centre.

📖 “Therefore what God has joined together, let no one separate.” — Mark 10:9

Looking at the Garden of Eden, we see that God’s intention for marriage was never separation, competition or selfishness. Adam and Eve were created to walk together, support one another and become one.

❤️ 5 LESSONS FOR A GODLY MARRIAGE

1️⃣ Listen closely.
Love is not only about speaking; sometimes love means listening, understanding and genuinely paying attention to your spouse.

2️⃣ Help without judging.
Marriage should be a safe place where two people can support each other without constantly condemning one another.

3️⃣ Speak kindly.
Words can either build a home or tear it down. Choose words that bring healing, encouragement and peace.

4️⃣ Create special time for each other.
Life can become busy, but love must remain intentional. Make time to connect, talk, laugh, pray and enjoy one another.

5️⃣ Support each other’s dreams.
A godly marriage is not a competition. When one succeeds, both should celebrate. Encourage your spouse to become all that God has called them to be.

💡 The greatest lesson is this:
Love is more than a feeling. Love is a daily decision to understand, forgive, sacrifice, encourage, protect and stand together.

The Bible tells husbands to love their wives “just as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her.” — Ephesians 5:25. (ESV Bible)

When Christ is at the centre of a marriage, husband and wife are not simply trying to win arguments or prove who is right—they are learning how to build together, pray together and grow together.

May God give us marriages that reflect His love, His character and His purpose. May every home represented in our church experience peace, understanding, unity and genuine love. Amen. 🙏🏽
