Christ Church Riverside in Hull is a family of people from all different backgrounds, ages and cultures We are an evangelical church.

Riverside Church is made up of a large group of people who are being transformed by Jesus Christ into people who love God, each other and their community. We are a multi-cultural family, from all walks and stages of life. This means we believe that the Bible is God’s authority on all matters of belief and behaviour and that the gospel of Jesus brings real hope and real change. We are part of the Church of England. Our services are very informal, with a time of easy to understand teaching from the bible, some music ranging from traditional hymns to new songs, and plenty of time to chat and get to know people better. For young children we provide a creche, and for older children there is a fun-packed Sunday Club which runs for part of the service.

⛪This Sunday ⛪
Join us this morning, 10:30 am at Parkstone Primary School, as we continue our series in John! We are praying that this series will grow us in love and awe of our Lord Jesus, and will spur us on to live sacrificial Christlike lives for Him.
We'll have singing, praying, Bible reading and preaching, our Church Family Bible Slot and time for the children to go out to their groups for age-appropriate teaching.
Whether you come every week, or you're interested in seeing what we get up to, we'd love to welcome you 🤗

We also have plenty of other groups occurring in the week, look at how full our calendar is! Please join us at any or all of these, and please be praying for fruit from them

🙏 Tonight 🙏
Join us tonight (Weds 7th) at 7:30pm at the Trafalgar Centre for our monthly prayer meeting. This is such an encouraging time to gather together, hear a reflection on God's word and then pray for His word to go out to people across the world and for the work of the local church. We love having a mix of ages and stages at Riverside, and it is a blessing to pray together to our God who loves to hear us pray! If you've never been before or you come every month, come along and share in prayer with us!

❔What's with all the blood in the Bible? ❔
There are so many Bible passages, hymns and songs specifically about blood, what's all that about? Come along next Sunday evening to find out why we as Christians can rejoice in the blood that Jesus spilled for us on the cross. This service is especially geared to being open and accessible to those who don't normally come to church - it's an opportunity to see what church is really like and to hear about what a great Saviour we worship.
St Mary's Sixth Form College, 6:30pm, Sunday 4th October - see you there!
