Christ Church Riverside

Christ Church Riverside Christ Church Riverside in Hull is a family of people from all different backgrounds, ages and cultures We are an evangelical church.

Riverside Church is made up of a large group of people who are being transformed by Jesus Christ into people who love God, each other and their community. We are a multi-cultural family, from all walks and stages of life. This means we believe that the Bible is God’s authority on all matters of belief and behaviour and that the gospel of Jesus brings real hope and real change. We are part of the C

hurch of England. Our services are very informal, with a time of easy to understand teaching from the bible, some music ranging from traditional hymns to new songs, and plenty of time to chat and get to know people better. For young children we provide a creche, and for older children there is a fun-packed Sunday Club which runs for part of the service.

👑 Fun Day Two 👑
That's the end of our Fun Days - can confirm fun was had! Thank you so much to everyone who came, joined in with our games or crafts or ate our food and heard about Jesus who saves and who we can put our faith in! At our teen night we got very competitive with our own gameshow, attempted to protect our kingdoms and heard about how God is always working out his plan for his glory and our good! If you came along and you want to find out more, we would love it so much to see you on a Sunday or at one of our midweek groups. We're currently on pause for JClub, The Base and Drop In over the summer but keep an eye out on our socials for info as to when we start back up again - and we're still meeting every Sunday 10:30am at Parkstone Primary School! 🕺 Teen Nights 🕺
In all of our excitement for the FUN days, don't forget that we also have our very exciting Teen Games Nights this week! With free food, fun games, team challenges and much much more we can guarantee lots of good times! Come along at 7pm til 9 on the 21st and 22nd of July at the Riverside Community Centre. Don't worry if you can only come to one night, you'd be more than welcome 🕺🪩🎉

⛪This Sunday ⛪
Join us this morning, 10:30 am at Parkstone Primary School, as we continue the series we started last week in Proverbs! We are praying that through this series we will grow in wisdom and knowledge of the Lord and that this would lead us to live Christlike lives, loving and serving Him.
We'll have singing, praying, Bible reading and preaching, our Church Family Bible Slot and time for the children to go out to their groups for age-appropriate teaching.

🪩 Family Fun Week 🪩
It's almost time! We are super excited for our fun week next week, as we say every time: it's going to be fun! Last year, we played lots of games, made lots of nice crafts, sang some great songs and heard so much about the God who made the universe. This year, we're bigger and better than ever! For two afternoons, we are serving a free tea for the whole family, we've got some great games planned, the cutting-out for the craft is happening as I type this and, most importantly of all, two wonderful chances to learn more about the God we love and serve! It's totally free to come along, you don't need to sign up, just rock up and have a fun fun fun time! 4-6pm at the Riverside Community Centre, 21st and 22nd of July!

It's the last week of term and we're gearing up to a summer of Fun Afternoons, Games Nights, Summer Camps and all sorts of fun! We still have plenty on this week, it would be great to get involved in our ministries before many of them go on pause for the summer. See you there!
