We are very pleased to announce that the structural repairs and tower roof replacement at the church are now completed. This marks the end of the first phase of the planned restoration work. THANK YOU all for your support in helping us get to this point and for your patience whilst the church has not been open during the week. We plan to re-commence opening to visitors five days per week from 8 December (every day except Tuesdays and Thursdays), services permitting. Opening hours at least between 10am and 3pm in the winter months. We are very grateful to all who have supported us in our fundraising and to the following bodies for the grants awarded:
Withernwick Wind Farm Community Fund
Yorkshire Historic Churches Trust
Benefact Trust
Our appeal continues with the aim of installing toilet and kitchen facilities and replacing the nave roof. We hope you will continue to support us so that our church can remain open and viable as a real community space, as well as a place of worship for years to come. THANK YOU ALL AGAIN.

Wow! What a great day we had yesterday for our fourth Scarecrow Festival day. Huge thanks to all who helped make it such a success: to all who helped in the preparation and on the day, the amazing Sproatley Sapphires who kicked it all off, those who had their own stalls, those who donated gifts and cakes, those who created the most amazing scarecrows, and all who came along to support us. And thanks most of all to the wonderful SALLY HOLLYMAN who has been just amazing in pulling all this together once again, with months of hard work put into it. We are very grateful. Will let you know how much was raised as soon as possible. How blessed were we too that the rain held off until late. We didn't get chance to go round and see all the scarecrows before the rain came but your photos already posted on the Sproatley Hub are fantastic. What creative people we have in this village. Thank you!
