St Martins is a friendly, lively, local church family of all ages and backgrounds. We are led by the Holy spirit and rooted in the teachings of the Bible as we follow Jesus and do life together. It’s this good news of Jesus Christ that we seek to put at the heart of everything we do. (We are part of the New W**e network of churches and The Church of England). Whatever your story and stage of faith journey, you are welcome.

What does it really mean that “the Word became flesh”?

Where do you turn when you need to be reminded of God’s love?

Psalm 36 gives us a rich and reassuring picture of the Lord’s steadfast love — a love that reaches to the heavens and shelters us under the shadow of His wings. In a world that often feels restless and noisy, this psalm invites us back into His presence, His light, and His refreshing rest.

If you could do with some encouragement today, this reflection may be just what you need. You can read it here-

At St Martin’s, we believe church should feel like coming home. We’re one church with two congregations — different in style, united in heart.
Sundays at 10.30am A contemporary gathering with worship, teaching, and space to meet with the Holy Spirit. A place to encounter God’s presence and grow in faith.
Wednesdays at 11am A peaceful, traditional service with well known hymns and a shorter version of Sunday’s talk. A gentle midweek moment of worship and rest.
Wherever you’re coming from, whatever your week has held — welcome home.

Each month we learn a verse of Scripture together, and this month we’re focusing on Romans 6:23.
It reminds us that while we could never earn God’s favour, He gives us life in Jesus — freely and fully.
A truth worth holding onto.
