Messy Church is back!!!

Come along for a fun, creative, and relaxed time for all ages.

On the 2nd Wednesday of the month 3.15-4.30pm

What to expect: Hands-on crafts, games, a celebration with a story and songs, and shared food.

Everything is free and everyone is welcome—no matter how "messy" life is right now!

Children must be accompanied by a responsible adult.

Please let us know if you have any dietary requirements. We will try our best to cater for all but if we can’t cater for you, you are welcome to bring your own food along, to eat at the end of the session with us.

Hi Everyone

This Sunday is the last Sunday of the month so it's a big one for St Alban's! At 10am we have our Family Mass which is a sung Mass with hymns. The reason why it's aimed at families is because it's a shorter act of worship, the readings and all that we say is written for children so it's easy to understand and the hymns are all good fun. Oh! And the Vicar might have a supply of sweets for the children to have after Mass! We have seen quite a number of families engage with the church because of this service so why not give it a try or come back if you've been away for a while.

It's marvellous to read about the GCSE successes of young people from our local community. All too often we read negative stories and comments about young people and families in and around North Hull, but these examples of hard work and achievement show a different side and demonstrate a better narrative.

We hold all school leavers in our prayers and wish them well. ❤️🙏

Past 2 weeks we've been tweaking the garden ready for summer. We found a few more potatoes.

Past week we decided to give the bug hotel a little make over with our own creations of bugs. We collected and added natural items to the hotel we made 2 summers ago! We was greeted by a little bee that wanted to have some of our pollen.

Of course would it be a gardening session without a drink and we'll earned cake

This week we made England flags for the world cup. We must of given them some good encouragement to win.

Then we made cards for our familes.

The children went in the garden and explored our growing skills. We beheaded all the dead strawberries that the bugs had already eaten. We pulled some early potatoes and had the most fun digging for more potatoes.

Followed by some well-earned flapjack made by one of our mums

Today was a fun one

We made pinch pots! Then the children had to make somewhere safe to live using lego. Some amazing creations.

Followed by playing out with the snack of choice, chocolate cake and juice!

Todays first mothers Union session from 9. We are cooking!
