Why come to Quaker Meetings?

​Tim Gee shares what he finds meaningful about attending Quaker meetings for worship.

Our next meeting for worship will be this coming Sunday, 16th August, 10.30 to 11.30, followed by light refreshments

Also our midweek meetings contine to be held weekly. These are on Wednesdays 12.45 to 1.15 followed by a packed lunch

Hull Pride is taking place in the city centre tomorrow. Although there is no official presence at Pride this year some of us from Hull Meeting are marching or going to watch the event and take in the colour and joy of the occasion

Hull Quaker Meeting is increasing the frequency of our Sunday meetings. We are moving from meeting from once a month to twice. From now on we will meet on the first and third Sunday of each month and so our next Sunday meeting will be on 19th July, 10.30 to 11.30 as usual but we will not be having a lunch afterwards. Instead we will have tea/coffee and biscuits after the service. We look forward to this opportunity to share worship on a more regular basis
