King's Centre

King's Centre We are a vibrant, friendly church for all the family. On Sundays, we have our Sunday Celebration starting at 10:30am, including a time of family worship.

Children's groups (Sparks) also runs during the service. Our basis of faith is based firmly on the Bible and we make Jesus Christ the foundation and focus of all that we do. We have two churches, one based on Wellesley Street and the other at Terrington Village Hall (launching 11th September) both of which have plenty happening throughout the week for all ages. We extend a very warm welcome to all.

God created us with the gift of creativity, and last night we had the chance to express that in different ways—through painting, drawing, writing, and quiet reflection to draw closer to him.

A massive thank you to the creative people in our church who had the vision and skills to put this evening together.

We’re so excited to have guest speaker and friend - Andrew Jeffery with us, for what will be a really special ONE Sunday, service on June 14th.

Andrew pastored Breckland Christian Fellowship in Swaffham for six years before moving into hospital chaplaincy and more recently providing support to 4000 staff at The Queen Elizabeth Hospital King’s Lynn.

In July 2025, Andrew was diagnosed with small bowel cancer which is some of the inspiration behind him writing books. The first book, '(ab)normal Christianity', invites readers to discover Christianity is anything but normal. ‘The Gospel that walks with a limp’ is the second book highlighting that the Apostle Paul reached the Galatians through sickness. His sickness wasn’t a barrier - it was a doorway. The third book, ‘IMPOSSIBLE: What if change is actually possible’ reveals ten markers of someone who is ‘saved’. His fourth book, ‘The myth of a normal life’, is written for a mainstream audience and is a powerful exploration of the expectations that shape us and the freedom that comes when we finally step outside them. Andrew is married to Amy and has two daughters, Alice and Amelie.

Please note books will be available to purchase, after the service.

It’s a special Sunday for us this week, as both locations gather for ONE Sunday and guest speaker and friend Pete Duke, is with us to share God’s word. It’s going to be a morning not to be missed!

Pete and his wife Helen have been married for 14 years and have three children, Seth, Eliana, and Lydia. They have been part of Arise Church, Lincoln for the past 16 years, where Pete has served on the leadership team for over 10 years, most recently as Vision Lead.

Pete is passionate about raising people who come fully alive in Jesus—grounded in the truth of God’s Word, formed in character, and led by the Holy Spirit to love well and join in the work of rebuilding what is broken.

As part of the service on Sunday, we are also thrilled to be praying for and commissioning our new West Location Pastors - Jason and Alicja and their lovely family. We’d so love for you to be there!
