Want to receive the gift of speaking in tongues? It starts simple: ask God—He loves to give good gifts! 🙏 Then receive by faith and begin speaking, even if your mind thinks it's gibberish. Get someone to pray for you and don't overthink it. Your mind might feel bypassed, but that's exactly the point—your spirit is connecting directly with God's Spirit. Whether your tongue becomes a tool for personal prayer, evangelism, or prophecy in your church community, it's all about building up God's kingdom. The key is love in all things (1 Corinthians 13:1). Did you know there are different ways the gift of tongues shows up in our lives? 💬 Some speak in earthly languages to share the gospel, mostly we use tongues as a personal prayer language between them and God—praying God's will even when we don't know what to ask for. In church, prophetic tongues need interpretation so everyone is built up together. Like Lego, we're not just building tall; we're building wide and strong! The beautiful thing? Tongues are a spiritual weapon that only God understands. We can speak into our world without overthinking. What draws you toward experiencing more of the Holy Spirit's gifts? ✨

On the day of Pentecost, the Holy Spirit came with a rush of wind and tongues of fire. 🔥 The disciples spoke in languages they'd never learned, declaring God's wonders so that people could hear the good news about Jesus in their own heart language. What an incredible moment! Speaking in tongues isn't meant to be mysterious or exclusive—it's a beautiful gift that builds us up and connects us directly to God's Spirit. Whether it's for personal prayer, evangelism, or prophecy in church, tongues are a spiritual weapon available to all believers. We also want to share a little announcement for 𝗻𝗲𝘅𝘁 𝘄𝗲𝗲𝗸 𝗦𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘆, 𝟭𝟲𝘁𝗵 𝗔𝘂𝗴𝘂𝘀𝘁: weather permitting, there will be picnics after the Sunday gathering around 1pm onwards. This will be a relaxed time to enjoy food and fellowship together.

Feel free to bring your own picnic food, blankets, and anything you’d enjoy. This will be at 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗪𝗮𝗹𝗸𝘀 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝗸, right near the children’s play area. 𝗘𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗶𝘀 𝘄𝗲𝗹𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗲!

When we think we're strongest, we're often most vulnerable. Peter learned this the hard way—confident one moment, denying Jesus the next. But that season of sifting became his greatest strength. Through discipline and restoration, he became the leader who boldly proclaimed the gospel and saw thousands come to faith. God doesn't sift us to destroy us; He refines us to strengthen us and equip us to strengthen others. Your struggles aren't wasted. They're preparation for ministry. Feeling haunted by a mistake? Weighed down by shame or guilt? You're not alone. Peter felt it too—he denied knowing Jesus when it mattered most. But here's the beautiful truth: losing your footing doesn't mean losing your faith. Jesus didn't give up on Peter, and He won't give up on you. Instead of rejection, He offers restoration. He prayed that Peter's faith wouldn't fail, and when Peter came back, Jesus didn't scold him—He recommissioned him with purpose. Your past doesn't disqualify you from your calling. How might Jesus be inviting you into a new season of service? 💙⛓️

Did you know that wheat goes through a tough process before it becomes flour? It's threshed, winnowed, sifted, and ground. Jesus used this picture to describe what happens when we face trials. Satan wants to shake us up, but Jesus prays that we come through refined—stronger and ready to help others. The sifting isn't rejection; it's discipline from a Father who loves us. Peter denied Jesus three times by a fire, yet Jesus restored him by another campfire and asked him to feed His sheep. Within weeks, Peter preached and 3,000 people came to faith! Your failures don't define your future. Jesus is praying for you right now. What area of your life needs restoration today? 🙏✨

Summer is here, and we invite you to some quality time together outdoors! Weather permitting, we will be having picnics after our Sunday gatherings on two upcoming dates:

The cross of Jesus was a horrible miscarriage of justice. And yet, it became our salvation. Never let it become an unappreciated norm in your life. Every single day, we're invited to approach God's throne with confidence, knowing we receive mercy we don't deserve. That gift changes everything about how we treat others. A critical spirit loves to count offenses. But a heart filled with God's Spirit learns to forgive without keeping score. When sin blinds us to mercy and unforgiveness grieves the Holy Spirit, we miss the transformative power of grace. Remember: forgiven people forgive. Your mercy toward others reflects your gratitude for God's mercy toward you. ✨ How can you practice extending undeserved mercy this week?
