Hi everyone! This is Amy Tanner, our Youth and Family worker. Amy is running the 'Roon the Toon' this Sunday, 7th June, to raise funds for our church.
Here's Amy's story:
"Many of my friends and family know that I suffered with pneumonia in 2019/2020. Recovering from that experience made me realise how important it is to take care of my health, and it inspired me to begin training and challenging myself physically.

This year, I'm putting that training to good use by taking on a fundraising challenge to support our church's youth groups. These groups provide a safe, encouraging environment where young people can build friendships, grow in confidence, and explore their faith.

If you are able to help, I would be incredibly grateful for any contribution, no matter the size. Every donation will go towards supporting the valuable work our youth groups do and the opportunities they provide for young people.

Join us this Sunday 31 May 2026 at 11.00am for a special All Age Service as we celebrate the life and work of our church and give thanks for all who serve among us. During the service we will have Presentation of Prizes and Awards, recognising the achievements of our youth organisations, Boys’ Brigade King’s Badge recipients, and Elders marking 30 years of faithful service. There will be worship, celebration, thanksgiving, and fellowship for all ages. Whether you come every week or have not been in church for some time, you will receive a warm welcome.
Jesus stopped for the person beside him. May we do the same.
