Our final post of the night! (we pinky promise!) and one for all our BB friends around the world.

In our service at St Marnock's Parish Church, Kilmarnock the Rev. K Templeton, who you can see in the video, chose a hymn that will make all those who have ever been involved in The Boys' Brigade fill with pride. Being at a service with 4th/5th Kilmarnock Boys Brigade without anything being deliberately planned out just made this hymn even better at the service today.

Adding to that, and you'll have seen him in the background of our other videos today, OiC David Kerr led the congregation on the organ - as an officer of 12th Kilmarnock, we are extremely proud to have had him leading us musically in our worship.

Enjoy the hymn and, if you sing along at home, we definitely won't judge

One of our Company Section boys continued today's lesson at St Marnock's Parish Church, Kilmarnock with a reading of Luke 15:1–7 and did an amazing job of telling us more about how it's not about being perfect.

We will all stray but, when we come before Jesus, when we speak to God and listen to what he tells us, there is great cause for celebration.

What an excellent message for our Company to conclude their input to the service that we shared with boys from 4th/5th Kilmarnock Boys Brigade

Our Senior Section boy gave an excellent reading of Ezekiel 34:11–16 today at St Marnock's Parish Church, Kilmarnock where we had a fantastic, unplanned, BB service with our friends at 4th/5th Kilmarnock Boys Brigade

In a service around pets, shepherds, sheep, and a deep knowledge and understanding of how we can follow in His word, this reading highlighted how every single one of us is important regardless of whether we've lost our way

What an amazing day at St Marnock's Parish Church, Kilmarnock!

Today, Captain Sandy McNamara had the pleasure of leading the childrens address at Sunday service where he introduced his (now famous) cat PotatOS! All to highlight the word of Jesus in John 10:27 "My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me"

CPT. Sandy wasn't the only one there and we'll be sharing a few more snips of the service soon.

2 of our boys lead the congregation in the readings and Mr David Kerr lead us all in hymn with his amazing pianist and organist skills.

It was also the first time that our Company, since becoming 12th Kilmarnock, were able to share in service with our fellows at 4th/5th Kilmarnock Boys Brigade who did a fantastic job after the service providing us all with teas and coffees as well as making the atmosphere of the kirk hall enjoyable and energetic.

We're truly blessed to be in such an amazing situation where our church and inter-company relations allow for a day that left everyone proud, happy, and vibrant.

Our deepest thanks to Rev. K Templeton for the opportunity and to the congregation who had to put up with not just one, but two, BB Companies taking over the church!

We're 1 week away from our Registration Night on the 27th August and the excitement for our new session is building.

Year on year our Company has done more for boys, leaders, our church and our community and it would be amazing to have you along for the adventure!

If your son is in Primary 1, right up to the age of 18, come along and get involved - the longer you wait the more once-in-a-lifetime experiences and learning they miss out on

Registration Night is a brilliant time to join as many people worry about that first time walking through the doors but, remember, it's not just you - you'll meet plenty people starting their journey too and plenty who already began their journey. We're positive our parents will happily talk to you about how we've made a difference in their lives and about the many successes every boy achieves while part of 12th Kilmarnock.

Remember, if you want to chat it out in advance you can call us on 07553124679 (after 6pm each evening), message our page, or email us at [email protected]

We'll see you all very soon ⚓
