A fantastic day of games old and new, activities, lunch (pizza and a BBQ), Mass and talks await as we enjoy the weather and young people have a chance to spend time with friends! And best of all... it's completely FREE!

Did your child receive their First Holy Communion this year? Join as they gather with First Communicants from across the Diocese for a celebration day on Saturday 25th July.

From 11.00 am to 4.00 pm at St Joseph's Church, Kilmarnock join with young people for a day of games and activities, pizza, BBQ, two short talks, and Mass. It's a great way to enjoy the weather, meet other young people, and to hear about all of the events on offer for young people.

Join our Diocesan Young Adults tonight for their monthly Young Adults' Evening in St Joseph's Church, Kilmarnock, or online (register at https://youth.rcdg.org.uk/online-participation/ ).

Tonight the group will be joined by Marianne Luchessi from the Jesuit Spirituality Centre as she speaks on the theme of Prayer: How and Why - looking at and trying different forms of prayer.

The evening begins with Confession at 6.00 pm, and continues afterwards in the hall from 6.30 pm. Open to anyone in S5 - age 30.

Did your child receive their First Communion this year? invites them to join with other First Communicants from across the Diocese for a day of celebration! Fr Kevin, our Diocesan Youth Chaplain, has written to all First Communicants to invite them to take part - read the letter below and sign up on the Youth Office's website: https://youth.rcdg.org.uk/youth/first-communion-celebration-day/

All summer events in August are open to any young people going into P5-S4, so even if you can't make the First Communion Celebration, why not join at another event over the summer!

Last night was the final Youth Evening before the summer in Kilmarnock and Dumfries, but while we're all sad to not have another until September, everyone had a FANTASTIC night - in Dumfries, the young people enjoyed an outdoor Mass in the church grounds, while both groups then enjoyed their evenings outdoors! Everyone had a fantastic evening, with games old and new (or freestyle in Dumfries), as well as hearing about what it means to be part of the Church: God's family! Thank you to everyone who came along, there may not be another Youth Evening until September...but have a great summer programme lined up - see you there!
