What a fantastic day we had together! Our hearts are full! Thank you to everyone who came and made it such a great day. Here's a few photos taken on the day, some by our participants and some by Adam, who gave up his weekend to help out. A professional video is being edited but here's a wee taster of 'Created to Belong'

Just a wee reminder that ticket sales end to night! They are almost all gone but if you move now there should still be a space for you to join us!

We are so thrilled to share with you a song that has been written especially for 'Created to Belong' by a very generous and gifted musician, Helen Stirling of King's Inverness. It is based on Psalm 100:3 - it's a beautiful and simple song, full of God's truth. Why not have a listen and start to learn it? We will be singing - and signing -it on May 23rd as part of our worship. Our huge thanks to Helen and equally talented Alastair, who helped finesse the details.

Another treat for you! Elaine Tait from Scripture Union Scotland is joining us and will be running a workshop. Elaine is the ASN Development Coordinator for SU Scotland. She is passionate about the truth that Jesus loves all of us just the way we are and loves helping people see that it is the little things that make a huge difference. Her workshop is an interactive exploration of the new RME resource for ASN Schools - "Who is Jesus?" A taster of the different activities that learners in secondary ASN schools can engage in. This resource can also be adapted for churches. Elaine, like our other workshop leaders will also have a stall in our Marketplace. Prospects Across Scotland has really appreciated partnering with Elaine delivering training together, so we're delighted she can join us.

We are delighted that we will joined by Alex, Michelle and Jessica of Godly Play Scotland. Godly Play is an approach to Christian education that promotes knowledge, respect, empathy and looks to support the needs of the whole person. There is depth and reflection in each Godly Play session, giving time and space to learn. It is multi-sensory, using visual, auditory and kinaesthetic approaches to learning.

It can be appreciated by people of all ages and abilities, engaging both head and heart. Our workshop leaders have experience of sharing sessions in schools, churches, care settings and even outdoors, with circles of children, adults, diverse disabilities and neurodivergence.

In these workshops they will share a Godly Play story and some wondering, then there will be time for some questions and answers.

We are thrilled that we will have Suzanne Lofthus, the artistic director of Cutting Edge Theatre Company with us for 'Created to Belong'.

Cutting Edge has been in existence for almost 30 years and specialises in community theatre and working with marginalised groups across the country. The company works with people of different abilities through its INSPIRE project.

Suzanne has directed the annual open-air passion play in Princes Street Gardens. The Easter 2026 play was called UNBROKEN. It fresh look at Jesus’ relationships with disabled people, celebrating
how he spent time with people marginalised by society, bringing a message of love, purpose, inclusion and community that is as relevant today as it was then. Some of the actors came
from INSPIRE.

INSPIRE is Cutting Edge's programme specifically designed for disabled people to enjoy equal access to theatre as participants, audience members and professionals. They run drama classes for learning/disabled people from aged 8+ in Edinburgh, Dunfermline, Kirkcaldy and Aberdeen.

Suzanne will be hosting our drama workshop - so book your place on 'Created to Belong' and don't miss out on this fantastic experience!

Janneke Klos is coming to 'Created to Belong' to help lead us in Makaton during worship and in 'Know and Grow' workshops. Some of our team attended one of these free online taster workshops with Janneke recently - and we learned so much! We can't wait to meet her in person - come and join us! And why not try one of these taster sessions too?

We are thrilled to have Janneke Klos from the Christian learning disability charity
