Storm Boelo update, Sunday morning ⚠️

An amber weather warning is in place for our area this morning. The gusts are strong and can catch you off guard.

We have not yet checked the building, but we intend to meet for worship as normal if it remains safe to do so.

Please assess your own risk before you set out:

If you are driving, take care on exposed roads and watch for fallen branches and debris
If you are walking, gusts can knock you off balance, especially near trees and on open ground
If you feel unsure, stay home and join us online instead (on our YouTube channel or on Facebook)

Your safety matters more than being in the building. Worshipping from home is still worshipping together.

If anything changes, we will let you know as quickly as we can. Please check back here before you leave.

Stay safe, and we hope to see you, in person or online.

Someone tried to catch Jesus out. Of all the hundreds of commandments, which one matters most? His answer? Love God with all your heart, soul and mind, Love your neighbour as yourself ... Everything else hangs on these two. So what does that look like in real life outwith church and slogans? The prophet Leviticus gives ideas. Leave the edges of your field unharvested for people who are hungry; pay workers on the day; treat rich and poor the same; welcome the stranger, because you were one once.

Join us this Sunday, as we consider What the King Looks Like.

With the weather set to be a bit miserable (understatement!) this weekend you might be wondering what to fill your time with? We've got you covered! Why not get your hands on a copy on our book of the month “The Secret Keeper” by Kate Morton. Read it over the weekend (remember it comes in a downloadable format instantly, but there is still time for paper copies to be delivered) and then come along to The Good Book Group on Tuesday evening, 27th October at 7:30pm in the Kidston Hall for some conversation and discussion ... and lots of company and fun! Everyone is welcome.
