We begin our new series, Sent on a Promise tomorrow ... where everything begins. The God who speaks a world into being is the same God who sends us out into it. On the mountain Jesus sends his friends out, and the telling detail is that some of them still doubted. He sends them anyway, with one promise to carry: I am with you always. That's the ground we stand on before the journey starts. Our readings are from Genesis 1:1–2:4a & Matthew 28:16–20.

We meet at 11am, onsite at PA13 4BP and online. We would love to see you.

This Sunday we begin a new worship theme in Kilmacolm Parish Church. From now until early July we will be considering what it is to be 'Sent on a Promise'. We'll be following two journeys that turn out to be the same one. Abraham and Sarah set out for a land they've never seen, on the strength of a promise. Jesus calls ordinary people away from their work and sends them out before they feel ready. Neither story starts with any sort of certainty, just a voice saying 'go'.
Over six Sundays we'll travel from the wide light of creation, through the call, the promise, the hardest testing, and arrive in at Jesus' words we all need in life: "come to me, all you who are weary, and I will give you rest."
You'd be very welcome to walk the journey with us. We meet each Sunday at 11am, on site (PA13 4BP) and online.

We have some new technology in Kilmacolm!

Things are changing in Kilmacolm Parish Church and you might notice a few new 'things' when you enter the building. From this Sunday, as well as making an offering in cash in the plate, you can also make a donation by card or phone using our contactless donation terminals. You can also register your donation for Gift Aid by inputting your email address and then completing a declaration by email. Once you have done this once, as long as you use the same card to donate then all your donations will be treated as a Gift Aid donation.

Even if you give by Standing Order or other means, you may still want to make a weekly offering to God to give thanks for his goodness in your life. You can even donate online by visiting

We are open from 10am until 12noon each Wednesday over the summer. You would be welcome to drop in for as long or short a time as you wanted.
