Chris Gordon is leading worship on Sunday, 31st May at 10am for the final chapter from the Book of Ruth. Nothing in life has the power to make so profound a change as that which Jesus Christ can make. This we have been hearing about in the four short chapters in the book of Ruth.
Ruth is shown moving from Brokenness to Blessedness. In her story, however, something far more wonderful and blessed is in view. In this book, we see Christ’s power to change lives and His power to transport us from the brokenness of sin to the blessedness of His salvation.
All are welcome to join us at the service and for tea/coffee and fellowship in the halls afterwards.
This Sunday we will also be choosing a nominating committee to search for a minister for the linked charge of Killearn and Strathblane. Nominations are to be with the session clerks by Friday, 29th May, as has been intimated over the past two Sundays. Voting for the nominees, by church members and adherents, will take place immediately after the church service. Drymen Church are providing tellers to oversee the voting in Killearn and Strathblane churches and will announce the members of the nomination committee after the count is completed.

Christian Aid week 10th - 16th May 2026.

This year's campaign focuses on families in Nairobi, Kenya, where many parents struggle daily with rising food prices, unemployment and urban poverty. The 2026 theme, “Your faith. Make it count,” encourages Christians to turn faith into practical action through fundraising, prayer and community events.

We will be having a retiring collection after the church service on Sunday, 17th May.
