Invitation to the Lord’s Table
Friends, this is the joyful feast of the people of God.
Here, at Christ’s table, we are gathered from the north and the south, from the east and the west,
to share in the bread of life and the cup of salvation.
This is not the table of any one congregation or denomination —
it is the table of the Lord Jesus Christ.
All who love Him, and who seek to walk in His way, are welcome here.
Come, not because you are strong, but because you know your need.
Come, not because you are perfect, but because you are loved.
Come, for all is ready.

We are exploring a series on how important all our senses are to our faith and our intimacy with Jesus. This week is about hearing.
Deuteronomy 6: 1-9 allows us to explore ‘Hearing from God’, as Jesus taught us to listen and respond and to consider what it truly means to hear God, and how that requires an embodied response to what He has spoken.
We look forward to you and your family joining us on Sunday, 9th August at 10am when Chris Gordon will be leading worship. Refreshments will be served after the service in the halls.

Over the next five weeks we will have a series on how important all our senses are to our faith and our intimacy with Jesus. This week is about touch.
Mark 5: 21 - 34 allows us to explore ‘A touch from Jesus’, as Jesus is full of compassion for those in need.
Look forward to you and your family joining us on Sunday, 2nd August at 10am when Chris Gordon will be leading worship. Refreshments after the service in the halls.
This evening we have a live stream from the Keswick Convention at 7.30pm - 9pm in the halls. Ashley and Cairi who have just attended week one of the convention will look forward to welcoming you. Teas, coffee and cake! available from 7pm.

Come and join us on Sunday, 2nd August at 7pm. We extend a warm welcome whether you live near or far.

The topic is: God's Attractive Holiness
Series: Exodus 3:1-22
God is not someone fallen sinners can approach. But this is a God who comes to his creatures and reveals himself personally: calling Moses by name; disclosing his name/character; his faithfulness to his promises to/relationship with the patriarchs; his saving purposes (I have seen, heard, know, will deliver, will bless). There is a mystery of how Moses can approach-but-not-approach. But even here, God’s holiness looks like a generous, spreading goodness – not “melancholy, morose, sour, and unpleasant… but what is sweet and ravishingly lovely” (Jonathan Edwards). And this pre-incarnate vision of Jesus points forward to his own “I am” sayings, and his revealing the mystery.
