PW Mini Rally – Generation to Generation

We would love you to join us for our PW Mini Rally on Monday 14 September at 8.00 pm in Mourne Presbyterian Church Hall.

Our guest speaker for the evening will be Robert Dalzell, Mission Project Leader with South Belfast Friendship House. Robert will be sharing about the work of Friendship House in the Sandy Row area of Belfast and how, through practical support, fellowship and outreach, they seek to share the love of Christ within the local community.

We'll also hear from Zelda Skillen about the Donate a Bible initiative, along with praise and fellowship together.

Whether you're already involved in PW or have never been before, you would be very welcome to come along.

🌟 Girls' Brigade is Back Soon! 🌟
We are looking forward to another exciting year in Girls' Brigade and can't wait to welcome all our girls back on Tuesday 15th September. 💙
We would also love to welcome any new girls who would like to come along and join the fun! Girls can start GB as long as they are 3 years old by 1st July.

Before GB starts on Tuesday 15th September, a parental consent form must be completed for every girl attending. This is an important requirement and ensures we have the information needed in the event of an emergency.

🌿 Our final Ladies Walk & Talk of the summer took us to the beautiful surroundings of Castlewellan Lake, where we enjoyed a lovely evening of walking, fellowship and reflection together. It was wonderful to see ladies of all ages joining us.

Following the walk, Caroline Morris shared a thoughtful epilogue centred on the theme of trees and growing. We were encouraged to consider the seeds we are planting through our daily lives and reminded of Jesus' words about faith as small as a mustard seed (Matthew 17:20), choosing faith over fear during life's more difficult seasons.

Reflecting on Colossians 2:6–7, Caroline encouraged us to think about how deeply rooted we are in Christ. Just as deep roots enable a tree to withstand the storms, we too can remain strong through life's challenges when our faith is firmly rooted in Him.

Finally, we were challenged to consider the fruit that should be evident in our lives as we spend time in God's Word and grow in our walk with Him.

The evening concluded with tea, coffee and delicious homemade traybakes, providing another opportunity to enjoy friendship and fellowship together.

As this was our final Ladies Walk & Talk of the summer, we'd like to thank everyone who joined us throughout the series. It has been a joy to explore some of God's beautiful creation together, while sharing His Word and encouraging one another in our faith.

🌿 Just a reminder that our final Ladies Walk & Talk of the summer takes place this Monday, 3rd August, at 7.30 p.m., meeting at the main car park Castlewellan Forest Park.🌿

We'd love you to join us for a relaxing summer evening at Castlewellan Lake. A shorter walk option to the beautiful Cypress Pond, pictured below, is also available.

🌿 Ladies Walk & Talk – Trassey Track 🌿

We were thankful for another lovely evening together at our second Ladies Walk & Talk, enjoying a warm summer's evening along the beautiful Trassey Track in the Mourne Mountains.

Following our walk, Mrs Iris McKee shared a thoughtful epilogue using the surroundings to point us to God's Word. Beginning with Psalm 1:2–3, we were reminded that, like a tree planted by streams of water, our lives are to be deeply rooted in Christ, drawing all the strength and nourishment we need from Him.

From John 4:13–14, Iris spoke of the living water that Jesus gives, reminding us that only He can truly satisfy our deepest need and sustain us each day.

Finally, turning to Revelation 22:1–2 & 17, our thoughts were lifted to the river of the water of life flowing from God's throne and the wonderful invitation of the gospel - “Whoever is thirsty, let them come." What a precious reminder of the eternal hope found in Christ.

Afterwards, everyone enjoyed tea, coffee and delicious homemade traybakes as we spent time together in friendship and fellowship.

🌿 Ladies Walk & Talk – Trassey Track 🌿

Following the success of our first walk, we'd love you to join us for our next Ladies Walk & Talk on Monday 6th July 2026 at 7.30 p.m.

Meeting at Trassey Road Car Park, we'll enjoy an evening stroll along the beautiful Trassey Track, surrounded by some of the stunning scenery of the Mourne Mountains.

During the evening, Mrs Iris McKee will share a short epilogue, and afterwards we'll enjoy tea, coffee and homemade traybakes together.☕️

All ladies are warmly invited to join us for an evening of fun, friendship and fellowship — we'd love to see you there. 💚

🌿 A lovely evening was enjoyed at our first Ladies Walk & Talk of the year as we walked along the beautiful Dundrum Greenway. Thankfully the rain stayed away and the sun came out, allowing us to enjoy a wonderful time of fun, friendship and fellowship together.

At the end of the walk, Charlotte Stevenson shared a short epilogue from Philippians 4:12-13, reflecting on the contentment that can be found in Christ. Drawing on her own experience of breaking her leg while on holiday abroad, she spoke about how difficult seasons can often be the times when we become most aware of God's presence and learn to trust Him more deeply. Just as there are different seasons in the weather, there are different seasons in life, and Charlotte encouraged us to cultivate a spirit of gratitude in every season.

We then gathered back at the car park to enjoy a cup of tea and some delicious homemade buns before heading home.
