This afternoon bellringers are attempting a 'full peal' at St Bartholomew's. This is a bell ringing 'marathon' on the 100th anniversary of the first full peal recorded here on 24th May 1926. By coincidence it is the Festival of Pentecost today, a very important celebratory day in our church, following on from Christmas and Easter.

At 4pm we have informal 'Village Prayers for Pentecost' with tea and cake. There are children's activities, and contemporary Christian songs. All are welcome.

The church remains open every day and offers a cool space during the hot weather.
