Today's task was to clear up the overflowing waste bin. It costs the church £480 a year for a fortnightly emptying. Two of our volunteers donned their gloves and packed the excess into 12 bin bags. We are told the bin won't be emptied if it is presented without the lid closed. We would be really grateful if people could take home their own rubbish when the bin is full. Many thanks.

Thankyou everyone who supported our Afternoon Tea. It raised just over £1,140. This will help enormously as we are currently faced with a large bill for roof repairs.

St Peter's Church would like to thank everyone who turned up this morning to help transform the area around the church building. The overgrown foliage has been cut back and guttering downpipes have been unblocked. We are so grateful to the community for helping us maintain our beautiful church.
