St Mary's, Kidderminster Bell Ringers

Rowley Regis hosted the Northern Branch Striking Competition yesterday. There were 5 bands in the Call Changes Section and 2 bands in the Method Section. We entered the Call Changes and came a respectful 3rd place. The ropes were damp and stiff and bands particularly found the 4th bell (in the back 6) challenging to stand at the end of the ringing.

Bewdley won both events so we'll done to them. Only two towers entered both. We met up with friends from Bewdley, Cradley, Coseley, Halesowen and of course Rowley Regis. Results are on the W&DCRA N.Branch page and will be on the billboard for the website.

We had a great day out yesterday to Belbroughton, Wychbold, Crowle, Ombersley and Hartlebury - finishing up with a lovely meal at The Tap House. Here are some photos.

We will be ringing the new year in at Kidderminster. Get together from 11pm and ringing from 11.30pm.

Everybody welcome, do come if you can.

Christmas Eve ringing at 9:15 a.m. and then for midnight mass at 10:45-11:30. Rounds call changes plain hunt and plain bob doubles. Then we do the same again Christmas morning. Ding D**g xx

We had an excellent turn out for ringing for the King's Coronation today with food and drinks afterwards. Great band and great team work! Xx
